Illustrating 'The Lion King' was a transcontinental effort. Scar’s lead animator, Andreas Deja, accomplished his work in Florida while Mark Henn, Simba’s lead animator worked from California. In order to create some of the most gripping scenes in the movie with Simba and Scar, the team literally had to crisscross the country!
