Interesting fact:

Bird bones are mostly hollow, with no marrow! In some birds, the hollow bones contain extensions of air sacs from the lungs! Incredible! This aids them in flying. Some birds, such as the emu and the ostrich are simply too heavy to become airborne, but they still have a mean kick. So better not mess with either one of them!
